RFL plastics Ltd.


Introduction :

RFL plastics is renown plastics brand in Bangladeshi market. RFL Plastics is a sister concern of PRAN-RFL group. The Rangpur Foundry Ltd (RFL) was founded by Maj. Gen. Amjad Khan Chowdhury(Retd) in 1981 with a vision to leveraging the farmer in irrigation through cast iron products like centrifugal pump as well as ensuring drinking water through Tube well. After that it commenced its operation in plastics business in 2003.
The factory sites are in company owned industrial parks of 300,000 sq meters, which is fully equipped with state of the art injection molding machines with a conversation capacity of over 10,000 tons per month.
RFL Plastics currently utilizes 1200 molds through 250 machines having own tooling facilities.
They are a very strong organization of 10,000 employees dedicated to supplying customized and quality plastic products globally.

 RFL plastics Ltd. is using their IMC tools like as Advertisements, Sales Promotion, Public relations, Interactive Marketing, Personal Selling and Direct Marketing to their campaign.

They uses the funny and scientific advertisement in their products. The RFL door ad is one of them. By giving these advertisements they try to justify that their RFL door is very strong and long lasting than any other doors.  





RFl is coming up with new products in the plastics market. The RFL Plastic Ltd. is expert in making different dices for different items. The company gets those designs from its buyers, suppliers according to their specifications and they have strong R&D laboratory, which explores about product and design innovations to meet people's demand. They have 70 plus injection molding machine to produce those product. These includes such as Arm Chair, Armless Chair, Table, Stool and so on.





They uses the media, newspaper, magazines for their products. They always give the tvc ad in media and print ad in newspapers.




They do the interactive marketing by digital and social networks. In the fb page they tried to communicate with their customers. They used more digital marketing rather than mobile marketing. They opened the branch named " best buy- RFL " in the cities. By giving that name they are doing the personal selling. In this way they do the direct marketing with their customers. Because they achived the customer loyalty.



 

Opinion about RFL plastics : 



RFL plastics already captured about the 70% of market place in Bangladesh. But they have high amount of price which is disadvantageous for them. If they keep their price in between the range of everyone's capability, then the purchase amount of RFL products will increase more. Side by side, if they think of increasing more innovative products which is suitable and quite comfortable for its customers, then its sure they will win the people's heart in not time and their market place will increase quickly. Last but not the least, they must be aware of using better quality of plastics since some of the customers complain regarding the less longevity of the products produced by them.

  2. RFL is a well known brand and they are focusing more on advertising, but at the same time they need to bring more exclusive product to sustain as a well known brand.
